In order to keep these work horses delivering their most precious assets, Lockheed Martin has created the Embedded Platform Logistics System (EPLS) for the U.S. Marine Corps. EPLS streamlines how assets are tested and tracked, by embedding sensors, computers, displays and devices on board vehicles and collecting the information gathered in to databases and end-user management systems to improve the logistics information available to commanders."
